It’s in our company mission statement.  That means we talk about it all the time.  Here are a few pages from our playbook.

  • Personal service
  • Unless someone is on vacation, you will work with the salesperson that knows your business and your state like a pro.
  • Knowing that you are looking for more than just another person to send you a Christmas card each year, we will commit to learn the areas of your business to keep you competitive and profitable.
  • Our outside sales team is not afraid to hit the road each month and find a great restaurant in your hometown to meet and understand the important money and time saving practices that are unique to your team…you know, the stuff that can take years over the phone to figure out.

  • Product Knowledge Events & Educational Presentations available for you and your team
  • Lots of options
  • We have partnered with great buying groups to offer specials, bill through choices and payment terms that fit your books.
  • Lumber handling & delivery preference are noted and customized for every customer.
  • Our customer range is very broad.  We work with retail lumber yards, independent building material dealers, portable barn builders, decking pros, fencing pros, metal manufacturers, trailer manufacturers, retaining wall companies, specialized industrial suppliers and contracting groups.
  • Secret weapons
  • Our purchasing manager, Stacy Patterson, has over 25 years in the industry and a network of industry friends that can make the impossible somehow happen.
  • Our teams inspect our loads coming in & out with a quality control process to ensure our customers receive a high quality product. We put the mill number on every pack to make it easy to receive feedback on the quality of lumber.
  • We partner with companies that are smarter than we are.  Wolmanized® and Arxada keep our treatment technologies and equipment current and efficient.  SPIB spends quality time with our quality control team each month to make sure our daily samples are above industry standards.
  • Faith and values
  • As a Christian owned company, we strive to do what we say we will do and expand the business to the degree that the Lord brings us opportunities and enthusiastic people.
  • As a C12 partner, our leaders are accountable to live out Biblical priorities.
